Historic Palaces

Historic Palaces invited Lydia to visit the Dress Code exhibition and create an upcyced piece of clothing as a creative response to the exhibition. Inspired by an 18th cent dress which was made from repurposed materials, Lydia upcycled display banners into a frill jacket which has subtle panels reflecting the corset bodice of the dress but reinterpreting in a modern way.
