Did you know there are more masks than jellyfish in the ocean?

After recently reading an article by The Guardian I learnt there were more masks than jelly fish in the ocean. While we all knew the pandemic would have several devastating consequences, the impact on the oceans will take almost 500 years to recover from. A disposable mask takes approx 450 years to decompose and now our oceans are filed with them.

What can we do?

Well, using a reusable mask which you can wash in the machine or hand wash is a great way to not add to this problem. After months of deliberating if I should make reusable masks or not, I have decided yes. And there going to be free.

You’ll receive a free reusable mask in your order and it will come packed in a little recycled cotton gift bag. Why a in a gift bag? Well, the mask is a gift from me to you and as lots of you may already have reusable masks, it means you can gift it on you someone else who you think may need one more.

Your mask will co-ord with your order, to keep it cute. It will be made from remnant and dead-stock fabric with ties behind the ears.

Do you have a reusable mask yet?
