Join us for a creative, hands-on Upcycling Workshop where you'll learn how to make placemats or napkins!
Located at LB's Studio in Hackney Wick, our upcycling studio provides the perfect setting for a creative and fun experience. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, this workshop is suitable for all skill levels. You'll get an introduction into using a sewing machine and time to practice before making the placemats so will leave feeling confident on how to use a sewing machine.
During the workshop, Lydia will guide you through how to turn old materials into a custom cushion of your colour and style of choice. You’ll learn how to use a sewing machine and there will be max 6 people per class. The class will be approx 2 hours. We’ll aim to make x4 but quantity will be slightly dictated by time and abilities.
Materials to make the placemats / napkins will be provided but if you have a particular colour in mind, please bring your own as certain colours/styles cant be guaranteed!
